FC Barcelona 12/13 Away Replica Football Shirt Now Available at Lovell Soccer
Whilst we can’t put you on the Nou Camp pitch with the likes of Messi and company, we can kit you out like your Barcelona idols.
The club aim to make a statement on the football pitch and this offering reaches all new levels. Vibrant is an understatement as safety orange merges into tour yellow down the body, accompanied by traditional navy and maroon bands running down the sides and over the back of the round-neck collar. The tone of the new shirt pays homage to the city’s mixture of culture, art, style and architecture.
This football shirt is made with 100% recycled polyester-equivalent to an average of seven plastic bottles.
Barcelona are known for taking the best out of its homegrown talent (the cantera) and giving the young stars the opportunity to play with some of the finest footballers that the world has ever seen. Their squad is a mixture of youthfulness, tradition and creativity – all qualities that inspire the new kit.
The FCB badge sits proudly stitched atop the left chest whilst the Nike swoosh is sported on the opposite side. Across the centre of the chest, the Qatar Foundation is printed in navy whilst the right sleeve features the La Liga badge. Towards the bottom of the reverse side, the Unicef sponsor is also printed in navy.
The front of the collar is the same bright orange as used on the top of the shirt whilst the back is the traditional Blaugrana colours. The inner neck reads ‘més que un clun’ which translates to English as ’more than a club’. On the outside of the neck sits a printed Catalan Senyera flag. The Blaugrana stripes also run down the side of the body.
Utilising Nike’s innovative Dri-FIT technology, the shirt helps to keep players and fans alike cool and dry by pulling away sweat from your body. The shirt has been specifically designed for a lightweight and breathable feel, whether worn for technical or casual use.
Hopefully the teams performances will be as eye catching as the new shirt as they look to improve on last seasons disappointment of losing out to Real Madrid in the race to be La Liga Champions and being knocked out by Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
