The New Nike CTR 360 Maestri II FG Football Boots White/Yellow/Black at Lovell Soccer
After just over a year on the players feet the Nike CTR 360 Maestri Football Boots have established themselves as the best control boot on the market.
Offering (for the first time) not only the option of more power and more swerve, the Nike CTR 360 Maestri football boots also offer better touch and more control with specially designed pods to cushion the ball.
Personally, when I first saw the boot it did remind of the Ronaldinho Dois boots with the quilted leather toe box. To be honest, I thought it was an OK boot but nothing that special for the £100 price tag.
However, from the first moment Cesc Fabregas switched from his trusty Tiempo Legend football boots there was no turning back.
The Nike CTR 360 Maestri Football Boots are perfectly designed for that sort of Midfield Maestro with players like Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal), Andres Iniesta (Barcelona), Van Der Vaart (Tottenham Hotspurs), Michael Essian (Chelsea) and Gennaro Gattuso (AC Milan) all performing well in the Nike boots.
The CTR 360 Maestri Football Boots have also built up a great reputation as being one of the most comfortable boots on the market due mainly to the soft lining and a padded heal counter.
The uppers are made from Kanga Lite, which acts and feels like Kangeroo Leather with out the dreaded water absorption making the boots stay light in wet and boggy conditions.
The sole unit is unique to the Nike Football boots as the Blade configuration is designed to enhance ball trapping.
I have to say, I do like the whole concept of the CTR 360 Maestri, it does everything that its meant to do and has become a popular choice with people that I play with (and against!).
Nike have positioned this boot for midfielders. However, in my opinion, the Nike CTR 360 Maestri Football Boots would suit any position across on the pitch and it seems that Carlos Tevez (Manchester City) would agree with me as, like Cesc Fabregas, he traded in his Nike Tiempo Legends and now he wont take them the CTR’s off!
